当电报和讣告传来了朱老师已于5月9日逝世的噩耗时,我悲痛欲绝,回首往事,历历在目,我认识朱老师是在1944年秋,当时他在前国立东方语专教授“东南亚历史”课.我对这门课很感兴趣,这时正是抗日战争最困难时期,学校条件极差,没有教科书和讲义,全凭自己课堂记笔记.他的广东口音很重,有些听不懂,往往记不下来.下课后,我常去请教他.他看我很认真每次都不厌其烦地为我辅导,有时甚至把我的笔记拿去,帮我改正和补充.有时,他还在本子上写上几句鼓励话,并列了一些参考书目,要求我自已读后写心得。每次读我写的心得后,他总要谆谆诱导我如何利用史料,分析思考和治学方法,他说:“为学
