我们在一九七三~一九七四年研究中已证实:玉米杂种在群体一个体水平上的光合性能具有明显的优势。本试验的目的之一是在以往工作的基础上,进一步探索杂种优势是否在细胞器生化活性上也表现出来。这项工作在国外已有不少报导,但国内仍未见有正式报导。此外,М.Ф.ОВЧЙИИКОВА曾于1976年报导:玉米优势杂种的两个亲本叶绿体体外等比混合,在幼苗11日龄时其转能作用—希尔活性和光合磷酸化活性表现有互补增益效应,但同年中国科学院植物研究所在研究菠菜、甜菜两种不同作物之间叶绿体光合磷酸化效应
