8401浸膏抗男性的实验研究结果表明,有抗精子发生的作用和避孕作用。本品性味苦寒、无毒、产地广,国外文献报导非激素类男性避孕药物中,曾以本品类似植物进行研究,结果证实含有避孕成分。类似研究在我国尚未见报导。鉴于目前女用避孕药较多而男性用药尚少,若能开发成为男性抗生育药,即经济又简便,将易被人们所接受。现介绍以小白鼠进行实验的概况:选用雄性小白鼠随机分为对照组、阳性组和实验组共3组,每组20～40只,阳性组给醋酸棉酚,实验组给不同剂量的8401浸膏,每日给药,连继25天后与母鼠交配7
