五年前的一九九五年,中国石材工业协会在北京召开了首届全国石材工业发展战略研讨会。在会上明确提出了我国石材工业“九五”期间的奋斗目标、实现第二次飞跃的标志、发展战略和对策。五年过去了,我国石材工业伴随着国民经济的快速发展,取得了优异成绩,跃上了新的台阶。在世纪末向国人交出了一份比较满意的答卷。实现了产量、国内消耗量,花岗石出口量三个世界第一。进出口额再创历史新高,突破12亿美元,连续五年成为国内建材行业单类产品出口第一。这是我国石材行业在党的改革开放方针指引下,全体干部、职工努力拼搏的结果,我们为此由衷地感到欢欣鼓舞!今天,人类已经告别了二十世纪,迎来了新的世纪,在这承前启后、继往开来 Five years ago in 1995, China Stone Industry Association held the first national stone industry development strategy seminar in Beijing. At the meeting, the stone industry’s goal during the “Ninth Five-Year Plan” period, the sign of a second leap, development strategy and countermeasures were clearly proposed. Five years later, the stone industry in China has achieved remarkable results and has reached new heights along with the rapid development of the national economy. At the end of the century, the people of the country handed in a satisfactory answer. The output, domestic consumption, and export volume of granite are the three largest in the world. The volume of imports and exports hit another record high, breaking through 1.2 billion U.S. dollars. For the fifth consecutive year, it has become the first single-product export of the domestic building materials industry. This is the result of the stone industry in China under the guidance of the party’s reform and opening up policy. All the cadres and employees have worked hard to achieve results. We are sincerely encouraged by this! Today, mankind has bid farewell to the 20th century and usher in a new century. This inherits the past and opens the future
