向日葵是我国70年代新兴的油料作物,到1985年成为我国第3大油料作物,其发展如此迅速,一方面是由于向日葵耐盐碱、耐瘠薄、抗干旱、适应性强;另一方面是含油量高。随着人民生活水平的提高,工业的发展,向日葵作为食用植物油必须注重含油率的提高,作为工业用油对其脂肪酸成分也要有不同的要求。不同品种籽实含油率的差异是由遗传因素(基因型)决定的,但同一品种在不同地区有很大的表型差异。笔者在多年的育种实践中观察到无论是国内育成的还是国外引进的油用型
