OBJECTIVE: Studies have shown that a certain degree of shear stress is very important for maintaining the normal structure and function of blood vessels, but excessive shear stress leads to abnormal distribution and expression of ICAM-1 in vascular endothelial cells. Angelica sinensis is a traditional traditional Chinese medicine for promoting blood circulation and siltation. It has a certain effect on certain cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases with abnormal hemodynamics. In this study, we investigated the effect of Angelica sinensis on endothelial cells under high shear stress.
