在全国省报总编辑座谈会上提出,为了继续把新闻改革推向前进,报纸必须适应四个需要,实现五个转变。四个需要是:适应大规模发展社会主义商品经济的需要;适应建设高度文明和高度民主的需要;适应开放和迎接世界新技术革命挑战的需要;适应造就社会主义新人的需要。五个转变是:变单向流动为双向流动;变单功能为全功能;变封闭型为开放型;变指令性为服务性;变灌输的方式为交流的方式。适应四个需要和实现五个转变是辩证统一的关系。前者是我们报纸在新闻改革中的出发点,即宏观战略思想;后者是实现这个出发点的必要措施,即微观具体战术。微观出自宏观,反映宏观。实现报纸的五个转变,必然能把新闻改革大大推进一步,必然能把新时期的报纸办得更好。为了活跃思想、交流经验,开展争鸣,推进新闻改革,本刊决定举办‘推进新闻改革,实现报纸的五个转变’的专栏。我们深切期望报纸工作者、新闻教育者、新闻爱好者踊跃来稿。下一期的来稿,希望广大读者着重就‘变单向流动为双向流动’的问题发表意见。 In the provincial newspaper editor in chief said at the forum, in order to continue to press reform forward, newspapers must meet the four needs and achieve five changes.
