联合国教科文组织海洋司司长克劳斯(D.G.Kraase)博士在结束对我国海洋局、科学院有关海洋研究机构的访问之后,于三月廿一日访问了海洋仪器研究所。在访问期间,克劳斯仔细地听取了有关仪器所情况的介绍,饶有兴趣地参观了该所研制的海洋仪器及试验设备。克劳斯认为,我国的海洋科学与海洋技术已有相当的基础,能够对一些发展中国家提供必要的援助。例如,目前印度洋周围及太平洋中 Dr D. G. Kraase, Director of the Division for Oceanography of UNESCO, visited the Institute of Marine Instruments on March 21 after completing his visit to the marine research institutes of the State Oceanography Administration and the Academy of Sciences. During the visit, Klaus carefully listened to the introduction about the condition of the instrument, and visited with great interest the marine instrument and test equipment developed by the institute. Klaus believes that China’s marine science and marine technology have a fairly good foundation and can provide necessary assistance to some developing countries.
