临汾盆地的史前强震,均发生在盆地长期下降后骤然回返上升阶段,盆地下降阶段,无强震发生。这是山西中部断陷盆地发生强震的构造背。本文用考古学、地质学、地貌学方法,分析了山西中部各断陷盆地的地表垂直运动。表明各盆地不同地貌单元,虽仍存在上升与沉降差异运动,但总体抬升的趋势已表现出来。因此可认为,山西中部断陷盆地存在着发生强震的构造背景。山西中部诸盆地,现今主要发震构造仍是北北东向断裂。考虑这些断裂的活动强度和规模,未来强震发生的机率,临汾盆地仍然较高。
The prehistoric strong earthquakes in Linfen basin occurred suddenly after the long-term decline of the basin, and then returned to the rising stage. In the descending stage of the basin, no strong earthquakes occurred. This is the tectonic back of strong earthquakes in the fault basins in central Shanxi Province. In this paper, we use archeology, geology and geomorphology methods to analyze the vertical movement of the earth’s surface in various fault basins in central Shanxi Province. It shows that the different uplifting and subsidence movements exist in different geomorphic units in each basin. However, the trend of total uplifting has been shown. Therefore, it can be considered that there is a tectonic setting of strong earthquakes in the fault basins in central Shanxi. In the basins of central Shanxi, the main seismogenic structures today are still north-north eastward faults. Considering the intensity and scale of the activities of these faults and the probability of occurrence of strong earthquakes in the future, the Linfen basin is still relatively high.
