目前,需要更多的抗菌剂及新的治疗方法来应对愈演愈烈的抗生素耐药问题。随着对细菌基因组序列了解的深入,期望发现更多新靶点并研究出更多抗菌剂。可以用定向筛选和随机筛选两种方法来筛选新靶点。选定靶点后要确认靶点确实有效,并确定靶点的功能,开发先导化合物并进行优化,进而开发新药。新药开发面临着许多问题,因此,要不断改进研发过程。
