对止泻灵胶囊进行了小鼠急性毒性试验和大鼠35d长期毒性试验。结果表明．小鼠灌胃止泻灵胶囊LD50为5.76g／kg，是临床人日服剂量的144倍。大鼠长期毒性试验结果，高剂量（2．0g／kg）、中剂量（1.0g／kg）口服该药有局部毒性出现，停药后缓解；低剂量（0.5g／kg）长期口服大鼠，无毒性反应出现，故长期安全剂量为0．5g／kg。
Acute toxicity test on mice and 35-day long-term toxicity test on rats were performed on Zhixieling Capsule. The results show. The LD50 of the mice fed gavage Zhixieling capsule was 5.76g/kg, which was 144 times of the daily dose of the clinical human. Long-term toxicity test in rats showed that high-dose (2.0 g/kg) and medium-dose (1.0 g/kg) oral administration of the drug had local toxicity and eased after discontinuation; low-dose (0.5 g/kg) long-term oral administration of rats No toxic reaction occurs, so the long-term safety dose is 0.5g/kg.
