在普通臥式铣床上加工直齿锥齿輸,一般用在齿輸精加工前的粗切工作;这是为了减少精切时齿輸刨刀的负荷,同时也是提高加工直齿锥齿輸生产率的途径之一。但是在齿輸传动要求不高时,亦有用模数盘铣刀在普通卧式铣床上对这种齿轮进行最终加工,这种加工方式按下列次序进行(图1a):先切去所有齿的齿间直槽1,然后把齿轮转过ρ角,加工所有的侧面2,最后把齿轮转过2ρ角,切去所有的侧面3。
Straight bevel gear teeth are processed on ordinary horizontal milling machines and are generally used for rough cutting work before tooth finishing; this is to reduce the load on the cutter during finishing and to increase the productivity of straight bevel teeth one. However, when the gear transmission is not demanding, there is also the use of a plate cutter on a normal horizontal milling machine for the final machining of such gears. This processing is performed in the following order (Fig. 1a): first cut off all teeth Straight between slots 1, and then turn the gear ρ angle, machining all the sides 2, and finally turn the gear 2 ρ angle, cut off all the sides 3.
