意大利文“Vibrato”(英文写作“Vibrant”),有多种译法,有的译成“颤音”,还有的译成“振音”,声乐则译成“颤吟”。鉴于“颤音”与“振音”易于和颤指(tr.)混淆,我们队为翻译成带歌唱意义的“颤吟”比较恰当。所谓颤吟,就是指在一个固定音高上以一定速度反复交替出现的不大的强弱和音高的变化。是音乐表现的重要辅助手段之一,它能够对音色作进一步的修饰,给音以润色和活力,使乐曲富有歌唱性,在音乐表现上更有深
