It is learned from the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) that the situation of UK’s forestry safety production has obviously improved in recent years. In 1994/95, the number of work-related injuries per 100 employees dropped from 5.00 to 3.87 as compared with 1993/94. Among them, the number of labor injuries per 100 employees in the timber industry dropped from 7.80 to 3.80 and that of every 100 employees in the forestry machinery and forest engineering industry
