品种宗源原名运丰早18号。由山西省农科院棉花研究所以郑891为母本、烟lgu为父本杂交选育而成。1998年4月经山西省农作物品审委三届三次会议审定通过。特征特性幼苗匍匐，株高85－95cm。穗纺棒型，白颖、中芒，子粒玻质有宝色，粒形长，冠毛短，腹沟浅。千粒重509左右。农业部
