Based on the provincial panel data from 1999 to 2006 in our country, we study the influence of the economic openness such as international trade and FDI on the ratio of skilled labor supply. In contrast to the findings of Avalos (2006), Katz and Murphy (1992), empirical studies of the overall study show that trade dependence, FDI and other economic open-ended factors are significantly positive for skilled labor supply through education rather than skilled labor relative wages There is no significant effect on the supply of skilled labor due to the influence of the cross-terms of relative wage and wage-and-trade dependence and FDI variables on skilled labor supply. The cross-over terms of education input variables, trade dependence and FDI variables are significantly positive for skilled labor supply The role, trade dependence and investment share variables also have a significant positive effect on skilled labor supply. Classification studies show that differences in characteristics such as educational attainment, educational input, wage gap between skilled and unskilled labor are important factors affecting the supply of skilled labor.
