日本电通最近“动静”不小。持续5年的“中日广告教育交流项目”刚刚结束,“中日营销研究交流项目”又立即启动了。而且,电通在中国的广告代理业绩也相当可观,甚至争取了相当数量的本土客户。本刊记者近日专访了日本电通中国总代表山村正一先生。问:山村正一先生从事广告的经历?答:我从事广告至今已有35年了,自从1967年改制以后一直做客户服务的工作,1996年来到中国,就职于北京电通。现在电通在中国有两个系列,一个是北京电通,另一个是东方日海,在全国有8个办公地点,大概有150名员工。在日本的时候,我主要做的是客户服务,做得最久的是日本的雅马哈,另外也还有麦当劳、朝日啤酒等。以前做的一直是日本国内的客户,当年来中国的时候既不会英文也不懂中文,一下子就过来了。中国的电扬是日本电通和美国的扬必凯合作的公司,它也属于电通系列,但它不属于电通管辖,它有一部分 WPP 的股份,电通的出资比例占33%。现在 become3是我们的一个新的控
