Nitrate reductase (NR) is a key enzyme of nitrogen metabolism in plants and plays an important role in plant growth and development. The correlation between NR activity and crop fertility and the possibility of using it as a diagnostic indicator of crop nutrition have attracted the widespread interest of domestic and foreign scholars. In the 1960s and 1970s, Bar-Akiva A. et al. Conducted a study on the application of nitrate reductase in the diagnosis of citrus nutrition. Since then, domestic and foreign scholars conducted research on the NR activity of other fruit trees. Because the research on fruit tree NR is more difficult than the crops on the sample and determination methods, there are still few reports on the research in this field.
