Twelfth Engineering Bureau: Since the pilot reform was conducted in September 1984, over the past year or so, certain progress has been achieved: (1) Various forms of economic responsibility systems have been implemented and distribution has been improved. The Jinshuitan Project is one of the key construction projects in the country. It has been two years since the investment contract was implemented. After careful calculation and improvement of work efficiency, it is expected to save more than 20 million yuan in investment. Within the bureau, a hundred yuan worth of output-value wages will be used for lump sum, and various forms of distribution will be adopted. The gap between units and individuals will be widened, reflecting the principle of “rewards and punishments for laggards”. (2) Participated in the bidding for the civil engineering works of Shitang Hydropower Station. The bidding investment was RMB 53.43 million.
