新闻传播活动是主观见之于客观的实践活动,新闻价值观决定着传播者对新闻事实的取舍和新闻报道的角度。随着新媒体技术的不断涌现和新闻在实践中的认识的不断积淀,使得传统的新闻价值观在新媒体语境下发生了变化,传统的新闻价值理论系统在新的传媒技术条件和形态下,应该得到修正和进一步的发展。首先,作为传统的新闻思想核心的“客观性”的价值,在新媒体语境下,正在向“客观性与主观性”的综合型价值观方向发展。其次,在新媒体语境下,由于把关人的缺失、匿名性、受众的交互性以及新闻信息本身的泛化等诸多传播特征的出现,使得新闻价值理念正在由传统的单调的偏倚走向辩证的综合。这些变化主要包括:重要性的价值观走向“重要性与需要性”相结合的价值观;及时性的价值观走向“时新性与全时性”相综合的价值观;接近性的价值观走向“接近性与亲近性”相结合的价值观。
