《古代文化词类集义辨考》一书，通过对传统训诂学领域中的文化语词的梳理与研究，为汉语史与文化史研究的广泛沟通奠定了一个样本。本文从三个方面对该书进行阐说，即训诂学研究领域的巨翮再振、训诂学研究方法的文化开拓以及作为语言与文化聚合点的语词内部形式的多方辨考，借以明其对当代语史研究与文化研究所做出的种种实在的努力与贡献。
The book “A Study of the Set of Ancient Chinese Ci-poems” laid a good example for the extensive communication between Chinese history and cultural history by combing and studying the cultural terms in the field of traditional scholarship.
