反舰导弹是从水面、水下、空中和岸上发射,用以攻击水面舰船的飞航式导弹。它包括舰舰、潜舰、空舰、岸舰导弹。反舰导弹武器系统由导弹、火控系统、发射装置及地面设备组成。由于反舰导弹具有机动灵活,命中精度高,突防能力强,爆破威力大等特点,已成为现代对海作战的重要武器。中国从五十年代末期开始发展反舰导弹,经历了仿制舰舰导弹、改型设计和自行设计岸舰及空舰导弹、研制第二代反舰导弹几个阶段,在技术上从亚音速发展到超音速,从液体发动机发展到固体发动机和冲压发动机,从单项制导发展到综合制导。八十年代研制的第二代反舰导弹,在主要的战术技术性能上已接近或达到了当时的世界先进水平。
