Taking Ivanka Trump’s public speech as material and Aristotle’s three-appeal theory as guidance, I chose the rhetorical skills in Ivanka Trump’s speech and examined the language use of the three appeals Strategy to address the role of effective recourse in successful speeches - how Ivanka Trump won the public’s sympathy and support with the three-appeal tactic.
