In April 1953, the leader decided that I should be the fifth-grade teacher. My main job at the beginning is to get the most out of the situation and learn about this class for every student. I found that all students only care about themselves. Many students hold each other’s opinions. There are great opinions between men and women, cadres can not get the support of their students, and even cadres are strife with each other. Obviously, these have seriously affected the formation of a collective. I talked a few days in a row about which children to see each other. I asked them to give each other their opinions. However, most of them simply talked about their own mistakes and said nothing to others. As for changing this situation, no one expressed any willingness to work hard.
