我任顺义县教育局长十几年,深感责任的重大,经常考虑如何积极发挥教育部门的职能作用,切实担负起发展教育事业,提高全县人民素质这一重任。作为局长,我认为必须有“三主动”精神(即主动争取领导、主动争取社会支持、主动做好工作),才能使全县的教育事业蓬勃发展。主动争取领导教育是全党的事业,全民的事业。教育上的许多重大问题不是教育部门自身所能解决得了的,必须紧紧依靠党委和政府的领导,没有党委和政府的坚强领导,教育事业就不能发展。多年的工作实践使我体会到,要使县委和政府重视教育,仅仅“依靠”是不够的,还必须去主动争取。我们注意做到了以下两点: I served as the Director of Education of Shunyi County for more than 10 years.
