本文以柄谷行人《日本现代文学的起源》一书中“内面”的论述,来看明治二十年开始的“文言一致”运动对于现代性概念“内面”的发现建构过程,在这一过程中,声音性文字代替汉字,从而消解了先验性概念,确立了“文”之于“意识”的透明性,从而创作出在观察外物中投射自身的“写生文”。同时,本文通过周氏兄弟关于“内面”的“立人”与“进化”的相关论述,说明在其语境下“内面”的“不证自明”性,以此反观柄谷行人对“内面”的起源过程所做的追溯。
