Even though English learning enters the high school stage, students are still easily influenced by their native language when writing English. This mode of influence is more likely to be caused by a negative transfer of the mother tongue, which may lead to errors in grammar, usage, or discourse in student writing source. Correcting students’ negligence of mother tongue in writing is an important goal of high school English writing teaching.
