自然科学中很多现象从定性到定量,都以指数曲线形式分配。地方病的发生、发展、防治、消灭一般也遵循指数曲线趋势。基本公式是y=10~(α-β~x)。以血吸虫病为例。y代表历次防治后病人数或螺情数,a为指数曲线与纵轴相交点的百分率,即防治开始时病人或螺情数的对数,β为转阴率随各防治阶段而下降的速率(倍数),X代表防治阶段数(或疗程数)。评价时,列出各防治阶段
