目的人们常把人体睾丸(活体)当做椭球体,根据用尺子或超声检查所测的其上下径、左右径、前后径来估计其体积。本文借用形状相似的大鼠睾丸(离体),研究这种体积估计方法可能有多准确。方法从16只12月龄正常雄性Sprague-Dawley大鼠,获取16个睾丸,分别用2种方法估计每个器官的体积。第1种方法,根据睾丸的3径(用直尺测量)获得(用椭球体积公式计算)。第2种方法(本文当成“金标准”),根据睾丸的质量(用电子天平称得)与密度(用已知密度的乙醇溶液估计)获得。结果睾丸的上下、左右、前后径,范围分别是19~23 mm、10~12 mm、11~13 mm;用第1种和第2种方法所得体积(每个睾丸的2个结果)的比值,范围是0.813~0.945,平均为0.890“0.036(标准差)。结论基于模型假设与直径测量,成年大鼠睾丸的体积会低估约10%。
Purpose People often use the human testicle (living) as an ellipsoid and estimate its volume based on its diameter, diameter, and anteroposterior diameter measured by a ruler or ultrasound. This article borrows similar shape rat testis (ex vivo), to study how accurate this volume estimation method may be. Methods Twenty-six testicles were obtained from 16 normal 12-month-old male Sprague-Dawley rats, and the volume of each organ was estimated by two methods. The first method is based on the diameter of the testicle (measured with a ruler) (calculated using the ellipsoid volume formula). The second method, referred to in this article as the ”gold standard,“ is based on the mass of the testes (measured on an electronic scale) and the density (estimated using a known density of ethanol solution). Results The height, left and right, anteroposterior diameter of testis ranged from 19 to 23 mm, from 10 to 12 mm and from 11 to 13 mm, respectively. The ratio of the volumes obtained in the first and second methods (two for each testicle) , Ranging from 0.813 to 0.945 with an average of 0.890 ”0.036 (standard deviation) .CONCLUSIONS Based on model assumptions and diameter measurements, the testicular volume in adult rats underestimated about 10%.
