南宁平话师公戏不仅是一个戏曲剧种,其作为农耕时代平话人人生观与集体记忆的生动写照,与平话人日常习俗中的人情往来、社会网络紧密关联,具有鲜明的族群性、区域性和仪式感。以友爱师公团为代表的师公戏班作为平话师公戏的文化缩影,反映了从历史深处走来的南宁平话人,在经历社会身份、生产生活方式的巨大变迁后是如何历时性地理解自身所处的新的社会结构与人际关系。南宁平话人在面临“城市化”这一新的社会秩序时,在新型的“城中村”文化空间里,必然会重新审视本族群传统师公戏音乐的生命力,并对之进行知识体系的重构,以利于其在当代都市语境中的生存和延续。
