脂质的异位沉积是代谢综合征(MS)发病的中心环节,与脂肪肝、2型糖尿病及并发症的发生相关。胆固醇调节元件结合蛋白(SREBPs)是一种重要的核转录因子,具有3个异构体,它主要通过调节脂肪和胆固醇的合成在体内能量稳态调节中发挥重要的作用。大量研究显示,SREBPs参与胰岛素信号通路的组成,同时在高脂血症、胰岛素抵抗、糖尿病及脂肪肝患者可有高表达,但其病理生理机制目前尚不明确。SREBPs也参与MS各组分的发生发展,对SREBPs进行全面深入的研究,将有助于提高对MS及其各组分的认识,并指导临床治疗。
Ectopic deposition of lipid is the central part of the pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome (MS), which is associated with the occurrence of fatty liver, type 2 diabetes mellitus and complications. Cholesterol Regulatory Element-Binding Proteins (SREBPs) are an important nuclear transcription factor with three isoforms that play an important role in the homeostasis of energy in the body, mainly through the regulation of fat and cholesterol synthesis. Numerous studies have shown that SREBPs are involved in the formation of insulin signaling pathways and may be highly expressed in patients with hyperlipidemia, insulin resistance, diabetes and fatty liver, but its pathophysiological mechanisms are not yet clear. SREBPs are also involved in the occurrence and development of various components of MS. A thorough and thorough study of SREBPs will help to improve understanding of MS and its components and guide clinical treatment.
