在中跑运动员的训练实践中,有许多东西是公认的。年周期的训练结构不明确,甚至是高水平的运动员取得胜利的严重障碍。运动员成绩不佳的原因,专家们往往认为机体超负荷的习惯现象或者外伤,过早地进入竞技状态或在主要比赛之后取得的成绩,战术失算,运动员年龄太大或者太年轻,心理训练较差,等等。然而,分析我国近三年80名较优秀的赛跑运动员的训练日记,却能作出另外的论断:
There are many things that are generally recognized in the training practice of mid-distance runners.
