To investigate the relationship between residual gastric mucosal barrier injury and residual gastric mucosal precancerous lesions after subtotal gastrectomy, the dogs were induced by N-methy-N’-nitroNnitrosoguanidine (MNNG). In the course of precancerous lesions of residual gastric mucosa, gastric mucosa biopsy was performed regularly under gastroscope, and the transgastric mucosal potential difference (GTPD) and nuclear DNA content of mucosal cells were dynamically determined. RESULTS: With the aggravation of mucosal lesions in the residual gastric anastomosis, the GTPD values showed a decreasing trend, and there was a significant negative correlation between the GTPD values and the corresponding mucosal nuclear DNA content. The results of this experiment suggest that with the increase of residual gastric mucosal barrier damage, the malignant potential of mucosal tissue cells will be greater; residual gastric mucosal barrier injury plays a crucial role in the process of gastric precancerous lesions.
