地震危险分析(Seismic Hazard Analysis),即预计某场地将出现各种烈度地震的可能性。地震危险和地震危害是两个不同的概念。为了估计地震危害,即对工程设施在未来地震中遭到不同程度的损坏及生命财产损失的可能性进行定量估计,必须首先掌握该地区发生地震的背景,进行地震危险分析。此外,编制抗震设计规范、确定新建工程项目及居民点的位置,合理地提出抗震加固计划等一些重大工程决策,也须以地震危险分析作依据。
Seismic Hazard Analysis, that is, the possibility that various types of earthquakes will occur at a site. Earthquake hazards and earthquake hazards are two different concepts. In order to estimate the earthquake hazard, that is, to quantitatively estimate the degree of damage to engineering facilities and the possibility of loss of life and property in future earthquakes, the background of earthquakes in the area must be mastered first, and seismic hazard analysis should be conducted.
