“三十万言书”整体具有浓重的愤激、驳诘情绪,但又有明显的文学理论批评色彩。其中第二部分《关于几个理论性问题的说明材料》思路设计相当大器,思辨力强,由三个板块组成:在第一板块中,胡风调动现实主义理论修养,驳斥了林默涵、何其芳的攻讦,甩掉了他们强加的理论“原则”帽子;在第二板块中,则在理论细节上进行申辩;在第三板块中,胡风主动出击,对林、何的理论批判鞭辟入里、咄咄逼人,理论批评自由舒展。他不无情绪化地归纳出林、何批评思维方面的基本特征;提出了名噪一时的“五把刀子”说。胡风的理论批评固然有力,但似乎有把复杂的问题简单化的倾向,他对“题材决定”论的指责可为著例。
“Three hundred thousand words ” as a whole has a strong anger, refute emotions, but there is a clear criticism of literary theory. The second part, “Explanatory Materials on Several Theoretical Issues,” was designed with quite a brilliant idea and strong speculation. It consists of three sections: In the first section, Hu Feng mobilized the theory of realism to refute Lin Mohan and why Fang attack, get rid of their imposition of the theory “principle ” hat; in the second section, the argument on the details of the theory; in the third section, Hu Feng initiative attack on the forest, what the theoretical critique Whip into, aggressive, theoretical criticism free stretch. Although the theoretical criticism of Hu Feng is powerful, it seems that there is a tendency to simplify complex issues. His criticism of the “subject matter decision” may be an example.
