洛阳古代墓葬中出土的汉～唐代铁镜百余枚,通过外观和X光照片观察,这些铁镜与同时期铜镜的形式及纹饰基本相同。由于铁质文物极易锈蚀,对出土铁镜的及时保护显得尤为重要,用石蜡密封对铁镜进行保护是行之有效且简便易行的保护方法。
Luoyang ancient burial unearthed in the Han Dynasty - Tang Dynasty iron mirror more than 100 pieces, through the appearance and X-ray observation, these iron mirror with the same period of bronze mirror form and decoration are basically the same. Due to the extremely rusty iron artifacts, the timely protection of the iron mirror is particularly important. The protection of the iron mirror with paraffin wax is an effective and easy-to-use protection method.
