Zinc participates in a variety of enzyme metabolism in the body, maintaining the normal activities of various human body functions, if the long-term low zinc, enzyme activity decreased, that is, human metabolic disorders, showing a variety of clinical symptoms. From January to July 1994, 73 children aged 2 to 5 years with low-zinc symptoms, such as partial eclipse, anorexia, map tongue, and poor growth and development, who were present in our department were examined for trace elements after excluding the related diseases , At the same time with 192 healthy group children were analyzed. We use γ atomic absorption spectrometer, take the occipital head within 4cm from the scalp hair 0.5g, hand operation, the determination of hair Zn, Fe, Cu, Ca hair four kinds of trace elements, this paper only analyzed three kinds of diagnostic criteria is the use of Beijing hair zinc 16.83 ± 1.53μmol / L as the standard. The results showed that in addition to the 2-year-old child observation group and control group issued Zn mean no significant difference (probably due to children under 2 years of masticatory function is not complete
