This thesis uses the basic principles and basic methods of information retrieval language. With the World Wide Web as the research field, this paper starts with the analysis of the present situation of the secondary organization of network information, and discusses the application and development of the traditional taxonomy - hierarchical enumeration in the network environment . Based on a large number of online surveys, the dissertation divides web browsing tools into two categories: non-classification based and classification based on the manifestation of network information classification and organization. The non-taxonomy-based browsing tools are regarded as the network information classification method that comes into being under the network environment. The browsing tools based on taxonomy are regarded as the traditional application of the taxonomy in the internet. By comparing the two, the traditional taxonomy Feasibility of application in network environment.
