Since its commissioning in 1972, the Tamaya smelter has concentrated its use of oxygen-enriched air in flash smelters and converters with electrothermal sedimentation tanks to promote the expansion of its production capacity. Tamano Smelter transformed its casting machine into a special twin-bag casting machine that can simultaneously produce two types of anodes, a large-sized anode and a small-sized anode, in order to increase production capacity. Recently, the weighing package for this type of caster has been retrofitted into a revolving type, which helps to further increase productivity and improve production quality, resulting in a reduction in production costs.
