中国化学会第一届全国生物无机化学学术讨论会于1984年11月在武汉召开,来自全国各大专院校和科研单位的一百多名代表参加了大会。会议由华中工学院生物无机化学教研室的徐辉碧教授主持,王夔教授代表中国化学会致开幕词,华中工学院的领导同志在大会上讲了话,对中国化学会的这次会议表示热烈的祝贺和积极的支持。会议采取大会报告和分组报告相结合的方式进行,大报报告有:杨维达教授的《访日考察报告》、王夔教授 The First National Symposium on Bio-inorganic Chemistry of Chinese Chemical Society was held in November 1984 in Wuhan.
