Tyrosine kinase receptor Tie (including both Tie1 and Tie2 types) is one of the enzyme-linked receptors that binds to ligands for angiogenin and phosphorylates the tyrosine residues of the target protein. Tie is mainly expressed on the surface of vascular endothelial cells and hematopoietic cells, and is enhanced in the growth and migration of actively growing tissues such as developing embryos, wound healing and tumors. Tie1’s ligand is not yet clear, Tie2 ligand is angiotensin. Tie1 plays a regulatory role mainly in angiogenesis, microvascular stabilization, vascular remodeling and decay, and binding of Tie2 to its ligand can cause instability of the vascular structure.
