1985年初,我们开始进行多种微量元素与幼儿智力的研究工作,经过选点、取样,测量幼儿智商与幼儿头发中多种微量元素,并运用主成分分析、模式识别多因子判别分析,探求微量元素与幼儿智力的关系。此外测试所得的大量数据可为武汉地区幼儿智力、微量元素状况积累背景值,这些基础工作,可以为幼儿教育、健康、营养调剂提供科学依据,也可以为我国制定人才培养规划提供参考。
