The original five 62.5m~2 sintering machines at Shougang No. 1 Sintering Plant were built in 1959. Using the old craftsmanship of the Soviet Union in the 1940s, this old process equipment was unreasonable, operating conditions were poor, and dust pollution was very serious. The amount of dust discharged every day was about 40 tons. In order to improve the automation level of the sintering machine and eliminate the pollution to the surrounding environment, Shougang Company decided to renovate the first sintering plant. The project began construction in June 1981 under conditions of non-stop production. The engineering feature is the large amount of work (only 10,000 tons of steel structure installed), and the construction of the production side (high temperature on the construction site, dust filled), the prominent contradiction is the narrow site, these are the considerations when formulating the construction plan of.
