产品建模是进行计算机辅助工艺设计的基础,其目的是提供一种表达和贮存产品信息的方法。面向对象的产品建模具有产品信息逐步积累和便于拓展的优点,能很好地解决CAPP产品开发大信息量的需求。用图例展示了面向对象CAPP产品建模逐步细化零件对象、增加零件对象信息量而实现零件建模的全过程。用这种方法建立的零件数据库既包含零件的几何数据,又包含零件的技术数据,具有零件信息定义全面又便于拓宽的优点,适合于旋转及大批量非旋转零件CAPP系统开发应用的需要。
Product modeling is the basis for computer-aided process design and aims to provide a way to express and store product information. The object-oriented product modeling has the advantages of gradual accumulation of product information and easy expansion, and can well solve the large amount of information required for CAPP product development. The graphic shows the whole process of object-oriented CAPP product modeling by gradually refining the part object, increasing the amount of part object information and realizing the part modeling. The part database built by this method not only contains the geometric data of the part, but also contains the technical data of the part. It has the advantages of comprehensive definition of part information and widening. It is suitable for the development and application of CAPP system of rotating and high-volume non-rotating parts.
