中美知识产权(Intellectual PropertyRights,以下简称IPR)谈判是近两年中美关系中的一件大事。谈判历经多个回合,由于双方分歧严重而一度破裂,几乎引发了一场大规模的贸易战,但在最后一刻双方又戏剧性地达成了协议,从而避免了两败俱伤的后果。这次谈判集中于IPR保护的问题上,但对于两国的经济界产生了不小的震动,由于谈判是在世界上最大的发达国家和最大的发展中国家之间进行的,因此引起了各国的普遍关注。那么,中美产权谈判的背景是什么?双方为什么会一度举起贸易报复和反报复的武器?两国又为什么能在最后一刻达成妥协?
