小桩复合地基是近年来发展起来的一种新法处理的地基。本文介绍了它的承载机理和运用范围。结合实际工程,从试验研究、设计、施工及检验等各个方面进行了论述。用这种方法处理的地基,具有较高的承载力和较小的变形及差异沉降变形。与桩基比较它承受水平力强,特别是在地震作用下有调整上部结构受力状态的功能。同时还具有选材面广、节省钢材、缩短工期等特点。与灌注桩比较,节省投资60%。是冷却塔比较理想的地基处理方法。
