教育评价就是以教育为对象,对教育组织及成员的成绩进行核查、评价,它不是停留在事实本身的描述,而是时效用给予价值上的判断。教育评价的目的是导向、激励和改进工作。开展教育评价活动,是教育管理现代化的重要标志。 教育评价是一门科学。它的理论和方法,全部是以教育科学理论以及数理统计、模糊数学、计算机应用技术为基础的。因此,教育评价人员是研究这门科学、训练有素的专业人员。由于教育评价在现代教育管理中的重要地位,它成了当前世界教育科研的三大领域(教育基础理论、教育发展、教育评价)之一。
Education evaluation refers to the education as the object. It verifies and evaluates the achievements of educational organizations and members. It does not stop at the description of the facts themselves, but it is the judgment of value given by time effectiveness. The purpose of educational evaluation is to guide, motivate, and improve work. Carrying out education evaluation activities is an important symbol of the modernization of education management. Education evaluation is a science. Its theory and methods are all based on educational science theory and mathematical statistics, fuzzy mathematics, and computer application technology. Therefore, education evaluators are experts in researching this science and training. Due to the important position of education evaluation in modern education management, it has become one of the three major areas of education and research in the world today (basic education theory, education development, education evaluation).
