The reliability of the seal determines the oil and other lubricant consumption, engine life and overall engine economy. Analysis of the working conditions of the engine fitting indicates that the sealing material used for the engine cooling system, the lubrication system, and the intake and exhaust systems should meet the requirements of higher physical and mechanical properties.
