机器零件中40~50%需要渗碳或碳氮共渗,5%左右需要氮化或软氮化。70年代离子氮化问世后,很快获得工业上的广泛应用。80年代已发展成为汇集多种学科、多项技术的新兴边缘学科—等离子轰击化学热处理。目前各国正竞相开发研究。浙大材料系和校机械厂研制的多功能离子轰击炉,能进行离子氮化、离子软氮化、离子渗碳、离子碳氮共渗,而且能耗低(节能50%),渗速快,质量好,无污染,经济效益高。
