由国家科委高技术和基础研究司、国家自然科学基金委员会数理科学部主办,于6月1日、2日在北京召开了常温核聚变讨论会。到会50多人,有著名科学家王淦昌、黄祖洽、杨立铭、周毓麟、王乃彦等出席。会上,基金委员会资助的有关常温聚变课题的负责人汇报了三年来研究工作的进展。中国工程物理研究院七所、九所合作,在氘气辉光放电装置上检测到反常的×射线、γ射线,以及稳定重复的中子发射(每秒超过10~4个)。中国原子能研究院核物理所对这个装置产生的中子进行了详细的测量,观测到统计性很好的中子能谱,这对常温核聚变的机制研究有重要的参考价值。中国工
Organized by the State Science and Technology Commission of High Technology and Basic Research and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Department of Mathematical Sciences sponsored the conference on nuclear fusion at room temperature in Beijing on June 1 and 2. To attend more than 50 people, there are well-known scientists Wang Ganchang, Huang Zuqia, Yang Liming, Zhou Yulin, Wang Naiyan attended. At the meeting, the person in charge of the room temperature fusion project funded by the Foundation Committee reported the progress of the research work in the past three years. Seven of China Academy of Engineering Physics and nine cooperated to detect abnormal x-rays, gamma rays and stable repeated neutron emission (more than 10 to 4 per second) on a deuterium-glow discharge device. China Institute of Atomic Energy Institute of Nuclear Physics produced a neutron measurement of this device in detail, observing the well-measured neutron energy spectrum, which has an important reference value for studying the mechanism of nuclear fusion at room temperature.
